The Wilson Home

Please read our information & policies in their entirety. It includes useful information on what to expect when you arrive at The Wilson Home. If you chose not to read this information you assume ALL responsibility for any issues which may arise during your stay.

AMENITIES:

• WILSON HOME- sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms- All with river views except the Yellow room. Master (Blue) - Queen, Yellow- 2 twins, Family suite- 1 Queen, walk thru room- 2 twins.
• Bathrooms- 2 full baths, First floor- handicapped full bathroom – large sit down shower, 2^nd floor full bath with shower- tub encloser.
• Central heating, air conditioning, TV- standard cable, board games in entertainment center.
• LINENS-Bed linens and towels- 1 per person. 
•  Fully equipped Galley Kitchen- microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Great family Farmhouse table in the Pantry Eating area. 
•  Exterior- large front porch with old time swing, Outdoor furniture, fire pit along the river, river access, off street parking and bike storage.
• The Wilson Home does have cell service however there are some cell carriers with weak service in our valley.

POLICIES:

TAXES: State sales tax equals 6% and applies to all guest stays. In addition a 3% Venango County hotel excise tax is collected on all stays.

SMOKING: The Wilson Home is a non- smoking environment. Smoking IS NOT permitted anywhere in the home. Exterior smoking on the porch is permitted – we will provide ash trays which must be emptied into trash at your stays end. No cigarette butts will be tolerated on lawn. Smoking in any room will result in a charge of $100.cleaning charge plus an additional night’s charge to clean and air out rooms.

NO OPEN FLAMES: No candles will be tolerated. The home is a historic wood structure. Smoke alarms are hard wired throughout the home. The smoke alarms will not be altered or there will be an additional cost charged to your credit card.

CHECK IN: 3 PM – 9PM. If you require an earlier check in please contact us. We will attempt to honor your request.

CHECK OUT: 11 AM or any time before.

• Upon arrival there will be a Guest Notebook on site to aid you in a pleasant stay!

KEYS: ( 2) sets of keys for the front door will be appointed to you. At checkout both sets will be returned or a fee of lock replacement will be charged to your credit card.

HOMES RENTAL RATE: Is based on occupancy for 8 persons.

DEPOSIT: A deposit equal to 1 nights stay is required to hold your reservation.

CHILDREN: We welcome well behaved children accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. For the neighbors that reside adjacently please keep in mind that most persons enjoy the Peace and tranquility along the river.

PETS: No pets are permitted. If this rule is broken you will be subject to immediate eviction will occur with no reimbursement for rental time lost.

CANCELLATIONS: When a guest makes a reservation at The Wilson Home we agree to turn away ALL other request for the home that you selected and you agree to pay the rate quoted for the number of days that you reserved it. A deposit equal to 1 nights stay will be charged to your credit card provided at the time you make your reservation. Because of our size and location cancellations affect us significantly. Additionally, when you book a full house rental we are blocking a very significant portion of our resources for your use, often for months in advance during which time we turn away all other inquiries and possible bookings. When you make a reservation you become responsible for the entire amount of your stay. We are unable to offer a refund of your deposit and you will be charged for the remaining amount due on your arrival date.

HOWEVER, if you cancel giving us a large advance notice of over 30 days or more and we are ABLE to REBOOK the home, we will deduct the amount of the new reservation from the amount you are responsible for.

CLEANING CHARGES: When you arrive at The Wilson Home you will find a well-appointed and immaculately clean home. Normal cleaning charges are already included in the rental price. We ask that ALL BEVERAGES and FOODs be kept within rooms accommodated for the ability to clean up spills and stains.(The Kitchen, Pantry and exterior porch are eating areas.) NO food should be in the bedroom – upstairs areas. Upon departure we expect you to leave our home neat, tidy and in a broom swept condition. All furniture should be in its original position. NO furniture should be moved from floor to floor or outdoors. All lights should be turned OFF as well as ceiling fans. All windows should be closed. Used bed linens should be left on the beds. Towels are not appointed (1) per guest and should only be utilized within our home! ALL TRASH should be removed throughout the home and placed into the trash receptacles provided. The KITCHEN should be clean and all dishes washed and put away in the areas where they were found. The stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and grill should all be clean and found in the original condition found. IF YOU PREFER- we may clean these for you at an additional cost of 25.00 per appliance. EXTRA CLEANING charges will be applied for any messes left behind after your departure.
