Having grown up along the Allegheny River the Kentzel family provides a prospective of the region which only comes from their inner passion for the nature and the environment found in Emlenton's valley.

Cathy and Paul settled here in Emlenton from Pittsburgh, PA along with their youngest son of their five children. The Kentzel family resides a short distance from the Barnard House in another historical residence known as, " The Gossor - Kerr Home" 1897 on Hill Street.

The Kentzel's background in estate management, historical preservation, the environment and horticulture have aided the family in creating a unique and comfortable lodging experience for each guest.
